Kitty Spawn on the way

I have a bun in the oven and have been super busy doing home renovations in order to prepare my house & a nursery for my spawn. The drop date is a little over a month from now, so from now until then (and probably a while after) I probably will not have enough time to make anything new or continue my current projects.
I still like creating and still have ideas that I want to try, but for now all my energies are going to IRL creations/renovations. I look forward to getting back in action once things have calmed down a little here. Until then, happy simming everyone.

For some reason this maxis painting was never made recolorable with the CEP, and I needed some huge ornate neoclassic portraits. This has the same GUID as the maxis object, and will replace the original, but please take care because the ingame thumbnail will now have an asterisk on it, as if it were custom content. I think that can be resolved it you place the meshclone package somewhere in the installation folder for Apartment Life, but I'm not sure where...
I tried to improve the texture of the frame for the default picture, since it was pretty pixelated. I've also included five extra recolors, seen in the cut above.

Just two little recolors, cream and green, of the round Ikea PS rug that came with the Ikea Stuff Pack, so unfortunately it means this is not basegame compatible :/The inspired dandelion seed pattern is by the wonderful textile artist Thomas Paul.

Winterhold - Rugs from Skyrim

I've been converting some items from Skyrim for use in my TS3 game, as Skyrim is all sorts of gorgeous and amazing. Thankfully, I've been ADHDing enough that by the time I was ready to release something, the high-res texture pack had come out for Skyrim so these are nicer than they would have been otherwise.
Please keep that in mind! The meshes are quite low poly, but the image textures are huge. I have a newly upgraded computer so I don't have any issues with these, but that doesn't mean that you won't. Having said that, they're not outrageously huge textures so you very well may not have any problem at all.
There are three rug variations, along with two rolled rugs. I've started a collection file, which I'm also including in the download.

Gaming Picspam
Feb. 17th, 2012 02:06 amcuriouscrowBetween work and catching up on TV shows(Torchwood, Being Human(UK), Bones, rewatching Sherlock Holmes for the umpteenth time, etc) I've been gaming. Behind various cuts(that hopefully work!) are spam from Kingdoms of Amalur, ME3 Demo and some TS3 ish. Not in that particular order but yeah!:P Most of these have been posted on my tumblr though!
