Yep! I've been working on this one for a bit now. It's all the hairs that came in WA with pooklet's textures! All models will be pictures with the blond color to show how it looks in game!

Some notes on this:
~I think CU is "child unisex." Either way, I don't have photos of those separately, but can be distinguished from the photos above.
~Most of the hairs have been replaced, but NOT all of them have been pictured. Mainly because those hairs with hats obstruct the view, and made it pointless to take a picture. Irregardless, the only one that has not been replaced is male afro.
~Unless I find the time, I will not be posting these separately. So it's all or nothing.
Credits go to:
Pooklet- for the textures.
Ja- I used some of her scalp and sideburn textures from her replacements.
And the creators of S3pi for making their tools. :)

She also got the older store hairs retextured as well, but if I get some free time, I might look into doing the newer store hairs.

Ja has the basegame. You have WA and HELS. EA has bazillions more hair between the store and later expansion packs. In my search for matchiness I think I may end up completing the set. Just in case, do you have any other replacements tucked away on your harddrive that you would mind sharing? Every little bit I wouldn't have to do would be a blessing.

Hopefully that should be the correct file. Please let me know if it is.
As for the hair replacements... I actually do have most of them done. Most of EA's hairs those have EXTREMELY wonky mapping, which works funky with pooklet's texture. So due to the fact that they look... well weird, I haven't released them. That coupled with the fact that I think I'm starting to fall in love with the EA texture, I've been reluctant to go back and redo them.
If you would like, I do have *most* of the hairs, with the exception of the last EP/SP or two already extracted and somewhat sorted. Some of them don't include hairs that have hats, which you don't see the hair anyways. I could upload what I have. You can then poke and fiddle around with em if you think it would help reduce time spent.
*Forewarning* I spent a better part of at least half of month doing them. To start from scratch is not only extremely time consuming, but there were a couple of the hairs that didn't have sideburns/scalps that I had fixed which might save some headache. :)
Re: Mediafire in it's wonkyness...
Date: Dec. 21st, 2011 11:36 am (UTC)I hear you about the wonky mapping. I'm thinking of doing something like adding a layer of pooklet over ea fiddled some way to get what is likable about pooklet's texture while still keeping the ea shape. Once a formula is worked out, it would be nowhere near as strenuous as trying to get everything matched up. I hope I'm making sense here. I've experimented with it before and it sorta worked. I'll get back to you on the putting up the files you already have. If my experimenting is complete fail, then I'll send you a message or comment or something.
Either way, I'll let you know what I get going on and I'll keep checking your page.
